Refund and Cancellation Policy

At BookPackFly (owned and operated by Wizfair Private Limited), we aim to make the cancellation and refund process as transparent as possible. Our policies are designed to comply with U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations while covering the administrative costs of processing manual requests.

We prioritize customer satisfaction by providing clarity on refund policies and associated fees. This Refund Policy incorporates Post-Ticketing Service Fees and is aligned with the terms outlined in our Terms & Conditions. By booking through www.bookpackfly.com, you agree to abide by this policy.

The 24-Hour "Risk-Free" Cancellation

In accordance with US DOT regulations, most tickets for travel to or from the United States, booked at least seven (7) days prior to departure, may be canceled for a full refund within 24 hours of purchase.

  • Note: While the airline refund is full, BookPackFly charges a nominal Agent-Assisted Service Fee to process these manual requests (check the Post-Ticketing Service Fees tab).
General Refund Rules
  • Airline Rules: All refunds are subject to the specific fare rules of the airline. If a ticket is marked "Non-Refundable," only the government taxes may be refundable.
  • Processing Time: Once approved, refunds typically take 7-10 business days to reflect in your original payment method.
  • No-Shows: If you do not show up for your flight without prior notice, the ticket is usually forfeited and non-refundable per airline policy.
Refund Eligibility

Cancellations by Customers
1. Booking Deposits:
  • Deposits are fully refundable if cancellations are made 90 days or more before the scheduled departure date, unless specified as non-refundable.
  • Non-refundable bookings will be clearly disclosed at the time of booking.
2. Non-Refundable Services:

Some travel services, such as certain airline tickets or hotel accommodations, are explicitly non-refundable. Refund requests for such services will not be processed unless permitted by the Travel Provider.

3. Refund Requests Within 90 Days:

Refunds requested within 90 days of departure will depend on the policies of the Travel Provider, which may include partial refunds or penalties.

Changes or Cancellations by BookPackFly
1. Alternatives or Refunds:

In the rare event BookPackFly cancels or alters a booking, we will provide suitable alternatives or full refunds for the affected portion of your booking.

2. Force Majeure:

Refunds or credits for disruptions due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics) will be determined by the policies of the Travel Provider.

Refund Process and Fees

If an airline cancels a flight or makes a significant schedule change, you are entitled to a full refund to your original payment method.

How to Request a Refund

To initiate a cancellation or refund, please follow the steps below:

  2. Verification: Provide your Booking ID and the reason for cancellation.
  3. Confirmation: Our agents will calculate the total refundable amount (minus airline penalties and our service fees) and ask for your final confirmation.
  4. Issuance: Once confirmed, we will process the request with the airline.
Processing Timeline

Once the airline approves the refund, BookPackFly processes it within 7–10 business days. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to reflect the credit in your statement.

Delays caused by Travel Providers do not affect BookPackFly administrative timeline.

Refund Method

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. For payments processed through third-party providers, additional time may be required.

Post-Ticketing Service Fees

These administrative fees are charged by BookPackFly and are in addition to any penalties imposed by the airline.

Standard Service Fees

BookPackFly may charge a small administrative fee for manual cancellations or changes not caused by the airline. Any applicable fees will be clearly disclosed before at the time of the request. To know more about the fees for cancellations/changes, scroll down -

1. Agent-Assisted Cancellations (Within 24 Hours)
  • Domestic Travel: $25
  • International Travel: $35
  • Business/First Class Travel: $50
2. Agent-Assisted Cancellations (Beyond 24 Hours)

Refund Requests:

  • Domestic Economy: $100
  • International Economy: $200
  • Business/First Class: $200
3. Changes or Modifications

Fees for ticket reissues, name corrections, or special requests are determined on a case-by-case basis, starting at $40 per ticket

Non-Refundable Fees

All Post-Ticketing Service Fees are non-refundable, even if the Travel Provider denies the refund or change request. Many "Basic Economy" or promotional fares are non-refundable per airline rules. In these cases, we may help you obtain a travel credit for future use, depending on airline rules.

Additional Airline or Provider Fees

BookPackFly fees are independent of any charges imposed by the airline or Travel Provider, such as fare differences, cancellation penalties, or additional taxes.

Important Information

Special Considerations
1. Credits Instead of Refunds:

Where refunds are not possible, travel credits may be issued, subject to the Travel Provider’s terms and expiration policies.

2. No-Show Policy:

Failure to cancel prior to the Travel Provider’s specified deadline will result in forfeiture of refund eligibility.

3. Non-Refundable Tickets:

Tickets marked as non-refundable are eligible for refunds only if explicitly permitted by the Travel Provider’s fare rules.

Additional Costs and Responsibilities
1. Exchange Rates and Foreign Fees

Currency exchange rates and international transaction fees are determined by your bank or card issuer. BookPackFly is not responsible for variations in amounts due to currency fluctuations.

2. Documentation Requirements:

Customers must ensure they have valid travel documentation, including passports, visas, and other necessary permits. Refunds will not be granted for cancellations caused by insufficient documentation.
